I was raised under the Friday Night Lights as the daughter of a Texas high school football coach. Weight rooms smell like home to me. (Gross, right?)
I fell in love with words as a child (Sweet Valley Twins) and never looked back. I told my sixth grade teacher I wanted to be an etymologist. I had no idea what the pay scale looked like for that sort of thing.
I fell in love with a techie while I was loving life as an English major at Baylor University. We took a little detour to Michigan where we figured out that Texans are not made to survive winters in the Midwest. We’ve been married for an eternity now, and we are raising two beautiful and spunky girls here in Texas.
I live at the intersection of words and the marketplace. The journey to the heart and mind of a reader is worth it.
